Overview
The SUNDOO LP-3710 wall thickness gauge is a dedicated instrument for the measurement of the thickness of pipe walls and other related products. Measurement range is 0~ 10mm, Graduation is 0.05mm, and Indication Error is +/- 0.05mm. The instrument has a simple structure design and uses Dial readings to quickly and intuitively display measurement results, which is convenient for on-site and laboratory thickness measurement.
Features
1. Dedicated to thickness measurement of pipe walls and other products.
2. Measurement range 0~ 10mm to meet common measurement requirements.
3. Dial reading, intuitive results, Fast Response.
4. The structure is simple and easy to operate.
5. Light weight (about 0.2kg), easy to carry, suitable for on-site use.
Principle
LP-3710 Wall Thickness Gauge works by mechanical contact Measurement principle. During measurement, the probe of the instrument contacts the surface of the tube wall to be measured, and the thickness dimension is converted into the angular displacement of the pointer through the internal mechanical structure, so that the corresponding thickness value is directly indicated on the dial.
Applications
Wall thickness measurement
Steps
1. Make sure the thickness gauge is in good condition and the pointer is zero.
2. Smooth contact and fit the measurement end (probe) of the instrument to the surface of the tube wall to be tested.
3. Keep the instrument stable and read the thickness value directly from the position indicated by the dial hands.
4. Record the measurement results, and store the instrument properly after the measurement is completed.
Notice
• Please check whether the instrument pointer is accurately zeroed before use.
• When measuring, make sure that the probe is fully fitted with the surface of the tube wall to avoid tilt or gap.
When reading values, the line of sight should be perpendicular to the dial to reduce parallax errors.
• Do not use over the range, avoid measurement of thickness over 10mm.
• Handle with care to avoid severe impact or drop to prevent damage to the internal mechanical structure.
• Clean the instrument after use and keep it in a drying environment.
