Overview
IMT-PHD01 Bekk paper Smoothness Tester is a special printing testing instrument for measuring the surface smoothness and roughness of paper, Cardboard, paper tray and other paper products. The instrument is designed and developed according to the working principle of the international general Buick (Bekk) smoothing instrument. It is a smart paper and Cardboard smoothness performance testing instrument, suitable for papermaking, Encasement, printing, commodity inspection, scientific research and other departments.
Features
1. High Performance Microcomputer and High Accuracy Sensor for fast measurement.
2. Equipped with an oil-free vacuum pump imported from Germany and professionally manufactured vacuum volume blocks and solenoid valves.
3. Equipped with thermal printing function.
4. The effective test area is accurate, 10 +/- 0.05cm.
Principle
The instrument is designed according to the working principle of the internationally used Buick (Bekk) smoother instrument. The smoothness of the sample surface is assessed by measuring the time required for a certain volume of air to pass through the contact area between the sample surface and the glass anvil between the test ring and the glass anvil at a specific Vacuum Level.
Applications
Paper, Special Paper, Cardboard, Paper Tray and other paper products surface smoothness testing, film, adhesive tape and other sheet materials smoothness testing, papermaking, Encasement, printing, commodity inspection, scientific research
Standards
ISO5627 "Paper and Cardboard Smoothness Determination (Buick Method) ", GB456 "Paper and Cardboard Smoothness Determination (Buick Method) "
Steps
1. Prepare the sample to ensure it is flat and free of Wrinkles.
2. Place the specimen on the instrument test bench to ensure that the effective test area is covered.
3. Start the instrument and press the test ring against the specimen at a pressure of 100 +/- 2KPa.
4. The instrument automatically starts the measurement of air passage time and displays the smoothness result (in seconds).
5. After the test is completed, the test data can be printed through the thermal printer.
Notice
The instrument should be placed on a stable workbench.
• Ambient Temperature is recommended at 20 +/- 10 ° C with Humidity below 85%.
• Ensure that the surface of the test sample is clean and free of impurities, so as not to affect the test results.
• Regularly calibrate and maintain instruments to ensure Measurement accuracy.
• Follow relevant safety regulations when operating.
