Overview
IMT-Bend02 material bending performance tester is a special instrument used by IMT brand to detect the bending stiffness performance of sheet materials such as paper, Cardboard, film, mica sheet, graphite sheet and composite. The instrument has a variety of bending length and angle adjustable functions, and is suitable for material testing in the thickness range of 0.01~ 5.0mm.
Features
1. Support a variety of sample sizes: 70 * 38mm and 38 * 50mm
2. Multi-file bending length options: 60mm, 50mm, 40mm, 30mm, 25mm, 20mm, 15mm, 10mm, 5mm
3. High Accuracy Span: +/- 0.1mm accuracy
4. Measurement range: 0~ 10000mN
5. High Accuracy Sensor : +/- 0.1% accuracy, 0.01mN resolution
6. Adjustable bending angle: 1~ 92 ° and 0~ 90 ° dual range
7. Adjustable angular speed: 0.5~ 50 °/sec
8. Three test angles and durations are independently adjustable
9. High angle accuracy : +/- 0.1
10. Manual fixture operation, automatic reset after the test is completed
11.7 inch Touchscreen Operating interface
12. Unlimited blessing, nondestructive continuous clamping
13. Standard computer signal output
14. Equipment Self-Adjustment
15. Modular integrated thermal printer
Principle
The instrument holds the specimen by manual fixture, applies a bending force to the specimen at an adjustable angular speed under the set bending length and angle conditions, and measures the bending stiffness performance of the material through the High Accuracy Sensor. After the test is completed, the fixture is automatically reset, and the measurement data can be displayed and output through the Touchscreen.
Applications
Paper, Cardboard, Film, Mica Sheet, Graphite Sheet, Composites
Standards
GB/T 2314、GB/T 2236、ISO 5628、ISO 2493
Steps
1. Prepare samples that meet size requirements
2. Set test parameters (bending length, angle, angular velocity, etc.) through Touchscreen
3. Clamp the specimen with a manual clamp
4. Start the test, and the instrument automatically completes the bending process
5. Automatic reset of the fixture after the test is completed
6. View the test results, optionally print or output the data
Notice
• The sample size must meet the specifications of 70 * 38mm or 38 * 50mm
• Material thickness should be within the range of 0.01 to 5.0mm
• Choose the appropriate bending time based on the material's resilience characteristics
• Ensure equipment is self-calibrated before testing
• Pay attention to the correct clamping method of the fixture when operating
• Regularly calibrate equipment using standard calibrating tools
