Overview
Paper water absorption tester IMT-COB01 is an IMT brand Cobb Water Absorbency tester, model IMT-COB01. This instrument is a special testing instrument for paper Cobb Water Absorbency. It adopts the Cobb (Cobb) test method and is mainly used to determine the water absorption on the surface of sizing paper and Cardboard under the conditions specified by the standard. It is not suitable for relatively loose paper (such as newsprint), unglued paper (such as blotting paper) and paper with high Miscellaneous Water Absorbency.

Principle
The instrument is based on the Cobb (Cobb) test method and assesses Water Absorbency under standard conditions by measuring the amount of water absorbed by the surface of paper and Cardboard. During the test, pressure is applied by pressure rollers using a specific test area and water volume to simulate actual use conditions.

Steps
1. Prepare samples to ensure compliance with standard requirements
2. Set the test area (100 +/- 0.2) cm ² and the test water consumption 100 +/- 5ml
3. Use pressure roller (length 200 +/- 0.5mm, mass 10 +/- 0.5kg) to apply pressure
4. Measurement of water absorption within the specified time
5. Record test results and analyze them
Notice
• Only suitable for sizing paper and Cardboard, not suitable for loose paper, unsizing paper and high Water Absorbency paper
• Ambient Temperature should be kept at 20 +/- 10 ℃
• Environmental humidity should be less than 85%
• Ensure that the test area is accurately (100 +/- 0.2) cm ²
• The test water consumption is controlled within the range of 100 +/- 5ml
• Roller mass should be kept at 10 +/- 0.5kg
• The instrument weight is about 32kg, pay attention to safety when handling
