Overview
Cobb Water Absorbency Sampler IMT-212 is an IMT brand product. It is used to test the Water Absorbency performance of paper and Cardboard surface with Cobb Water Absorbency Tester, that is, to evaluate its water resistance performance. The device is mainly used for sampling operations. The sampling size is φ 125mm, the working Ambient Temperature is 20~ 40 ℃, Humidity < 85%, Dimension 250 * 280 * 450mm, and the weight is about 20kg.
Features
The blades are specially treated with die blades, which can be replaced for 10 years without special high-strength materials or man-made damage.
2. Blade processing technology includes high precision wire cutting, triple high temperature quenching and triple precision grinding to ensure High Accuracy.
3. The sampling error is controlled at +/- 0.2mm, and the sampling thickness ranges from 0.1 to 1.5mm.
4. Blade bite control adopts three-point positioning method combined with High Accuracy coaxial concentric process.
5. The coaxial concentric structure adopts three-point guide rail positioning structure and pure copper wear-resistant copper sleeve to improve durability and accuracy.
Principle
The Cobb Water Absorbency Sampler uses a three-point positioning method and High Accuracy coaxial process to ensure that the blade precisely cuts paper and Cardboard samples during the sampling process. The blade is specially treated, combined with pure copper wear-resistant copper sleeve and guide rail structure, to achieve stable sampling, and the error is controlled within +/- 0.2mm to match the subsequent detection of the Cobb Water Absorbency meter.
Applications
Paper and Cardboard Surface Water Absorbency Testing
Steps
1. Ensure that the Working Ambient Temperature is 20~ 40 ℃ and Humidity < 85%.
2. Place the paper or Cardboard sample on the Sampler.
3. Use the three-point positioning method to adjust the blade position.
4. Start Sampler to cut and obtain a φ 125mm sample.
5. Check whether the sampling error meets the requirements of +/- 0.2mm.
Notice
• Avoid use under conditions exceeding the Working Ambient Temperature of 20~ 40 ° C or Humidity ≥ 85%.
• The blade is not a special high-strength material to avoid man-made damage and prolong the service life.
• Regularly check the abrasion of blades and pure copper wear-resistant copper sleeves.
• The sampling thickness should be controlled within the range of 0.1 to 1.5mm.
• Ensure the stability of the three-point positioning structure during operation to prevent the sampling error from exceeding the limit.
