Overview
The LANDTEK glossmeter GM-26 is an all-in-one gloss measurement instrument that offers 20 degree and 60 degree Measurement Angles with a Repeatability of +/- 0.5 GU and a Measurement range of 0.1-200 GU. The instrument is designed to be lightweight and portable for gloss measurement on a wide range of surfaces, including floors, plastics, automotive coatings, and more.

Principle
The Glossmeter GM-26 irradiates the measured surface by emitting a beam of light at a specific angle, receives its reflected light, and calculates and displays the Glossiness value of the surface according to the intensity of the reflected light. The instrument adopts 20 °/60 ° dual angle measurement to adapt to different Gloss ranges of surfaces, ensuring the accuracy and applicability of measurement.

Steps
1. Turn on and select the appropriate Measurement Angles (20 ° or 60 °).
2. Smooth fit the instrument measurement port to the surface of the sample to be tested.
3. Press the measurement button for a single measurement, or select Continuous Measurement mode.
4. Read the gloss measurement on the display.
5. The measurement data can be automatically stored or transferred to the computer via RS-232/USB interface/Bluetooth.
Notice
Make sure the instrument is calibrated before measurement.
* When measuring, the instrument measurement port should be tightly and smoothly attached to the measured surface to avoid light leakage.
* Operating temperature of instrument is 0~ 40 ℃, relative humidity should be less than 85% RH.
* Avoid use in strong magnetic fields or strong static environments.
Regularly clean the instrument measurement window to ensure measurement accuracy.
* Please charge the built-in battery in time when it is low.
* When not in use for a long time, please store the instrument in a drying and cool place.
