Overview
The CHNSPEC CS-580B (6mm) Colorimeter uses spectroscopic technology, high-quality components and D/8 lighting structure to ensure stable and accurate measurement. It uses CLEDs Illuminant to avoid white light loss, and has automatic Gloss compensation function to eliminate the influence of different material surfaces. Glossiness, it is a cost-effective colorimeter.

Principle
The CHNSPEC CS-580 Colorimeter features a D/8 illumination structure, i.e. a scattering Illuminant and an 8-degree viewing angle, equipped with an SCS Optical inspection engine and ETC real-time calibrating technology. It uses CLEDs full-band equalized LED Illuminants to measure reflectance through a spectroscopic integrated system and synchronize SCI (including mirror reflection) and SCE (eliminating mirror reflection) measurements to ensure the accuracy and Stability of Color Data.

Steps
1. Turn on the power supply of the instrument to ensure that the battery is fully charged.
2. Use the camera viewfinder function to align the measured area to avoid measurement deviation.
3. Select Measurement mode, such as SCI or SCE, and set the required Illuminant and Chroma indicators.
4. Press the measurement button, the instrument completes the measurement in about 2 seconds.
5. View the results through the TFT display, including chromatic value, color difference and other data.
6. Use USB interface to connect PC software for Data storage, analysis and report generation.
7. Optional micro printer to print measurement results.
Notice
• Avoid operating in high temperature or high humidity environment, the recommended operating environment is 0~ 45 ℃, relative humidity 80% or less.
• Avoid extreme temperatures when storing, the storage environment is -25~ 55 ° C, and the relative humidity is 80% or lower.
• Regularly calibrate instruments to ensure measurement accuracy.
• Check whether the measurement diameter (φ 6mm) is clean before use to avoid pollution affecting the results.
• Use the original battery when charging to avoid excessive discharge to prolong Battery life.
• Keep the instrument stable during operation to avoid jitter affecting Measurement accuracy.
