Principle
The Colorimeter uses a d/8 illumination receiving method, using a combined LED as the illumination Illuminant. After the ray of light is irradiated to the sample, the reflected light is splitted through the concave Diffraction grating, received by the linear array CMOS Sensor, and analyzed at 10nm intervals in the 400~ 700nm Wavelength range, so as to accurately calculate the reflectance and various Color parameters of the sample.

Steps
1. Turn it on and ensure that the instrument is fully charged or connected to a power supply.
2. According to the measurement requirements, select the appropriate Measurement light source, color rendering parameters, observer angle and Color difference formula in the instrument settings.
3. If you need to use the average measurement function, set the average measurement number (1-99 times) in advance.
4. Align the instrument measurement diameter (φ 16mm) and stick to the surface of the tested sample.
5. Trigger the measurement and wait about 2.5 seconds for the measurement result.
6. The measurement data can be automatically stored (100 master standards, 16,000 samples), or further processed and output through optional computer software and micro printers.

* Operating temperature 0 ° C -40 ° C (32 ° F -104 ° F) and relative humidity below 85% (no condensation) environment.
* Instrument Storage Ambient Temperature is -20 ℃ -50 ℃.
When using an external power supply, please ensure that it is a 5V DC power supply. Although the instrument has overvoltage protection, it should still avoid connecting the wrong power supply.
* When measuring, please ensure that the measurement diameter is closely fitted with the surface of the tested sample to avoid light leakage affecting the Measurement accuracy.
* Periodically calibrated with a standard whiteboard to ensure long-term Stability of measurement data.
The PC software and micro printer on the computer side are optional accessories and need to be configured separately to achieve corresponding expansion functions.
