The IWAVE WH83 Coating thickness gauge is an upgraded measuring instrument that extends the Measurement range from zero to 1500μm and adds MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum and Average Display functions. It is suitable for precision measurement in the laboratory as well as in the engineering field. It is widely used in metal manufacturing, chemical industry, aerospace and scientific research and development. It is a testing tool required by enterprises for quality control and commodity inspection and control.
1. Using magnetic and eddy current thickness measurement methods, the thickness of the nonmagnetic coating layer on the magnetic metal substrate and the nonconductive coating layer on the nonmagnetic metal substrate can be measured. 2. Support single point calibrating and two point calibrating, and can use the basic calibrating method to correct the measurement head system error to ensure measurement accuracy. 3. Can quickly and automatically identify iron and non-iron substrates, with power undervoltage indication function, and a beep prompt during operation. 4. There are two shutdown methods: manual shutdown and automatic shutdown. 5. With negative number display function to ensure the accuracy of zero point calibrating. 6. With display average, MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum function.
Measurement principles of magnetic Induction and eddy Current are used. For nonmagnetic coatings on magnetic metal substrates, the principle of magnetic Induction is used for measurement; for nonconductive coatings on nonmagnetic metal substrates, the principle of eddy Current measurement is used.

1. Depending on the type of substrate being tested (magnetic or nonmagnetic), the instrument can automatically recognize or manually select the corresponding mode. 2. Carry out calibrating: You can choose zero-point calibrating or two-point calibrating mode, which is carried out on a standard sheet of known thickness to ensure measurement accuracy. 3. Place Probe vertically on the surface of the coating to be tested for measurement. 4. Measured values are read on the display, and the instrument can display Single Measured values, Average (avg), MAX Maximum (max) and MIN Minimum (min).
• Be sure to calibrate correctly to the substrate material before measurement. • Probe should be in vertical and stable contact with the measurement surface, with a minimum measurement surface of 10mm × 10mm. • Suitable for workpieces with a minimum radius of curvature of 5mm convex and 5mm concave, and the thinnest thickness of the substrate should be ≥ 0.4mm. • Please use it in an environment with 0-40 ° C and relative humidity ≤ 85%. • Pay attention to the battery level, the instrument has an undervoltage indication function. • Pay attention to the numerical unit (μm) displayed by the instrument when measuring.
[A] No, it isn't. This is the ex-factory price of the product in the Chinese Mainland. In addition to this price, buyers from different countries need to account for additional costs such as shipping fees, tariffs, and others. For specific regional quotes, please consult our customer service or fill out a quotation form.
