Overview
The KODIN ® H 600A digital transmission Black and white densitometer is an instrument produced by KODIN for the measurement of the amount of light transmitted through transparent materials (such as flexible sheet substrates). It is mainly composed of an illumination system, a light acquisition and measurement system, and a signal processing system. It can measure the transmission density within 5.0D. It also has reference value for measurements greater than 5.0D.

Principle
KO DIN ® H 600A Digital Transmission Black and white densitometer provides a stable Illuminant using AC modulation Illuminant. After the ray of light is transmitted through the negative under test, the photoelectric sensor receives the light quantity and converts it into an electrical signal. The signal is processed and sent to the microcontroller, and finally the density value of the tested negative is displayed on the display.

Steps
1. Turn it on.
2. Press the zero correction button to calibrate.
3. Use LED positioning halo to align the measurement point.
4. Conduct a formal test to read the density value on the display.
