Overview
XK-97A Colony counter is a digital display semi-automatic bacterial inspection instrument of ANGNI brand, which consists of counting pool, probe pen, counter and digital display. It adopts CMOS integrated circuit technology to count fast and reliable, LED digital tube display is clear and intuitive, special probe pen is sensitive and accurate, and energy-saving annular fluorescent side illumination is used in the counting pool with dark deep background to make the colony contrast clear, which can effectively reduce the intensity of experimental operation, improve efficiency and ensure mass.

Principle
The counting cell of the instrument is used to place the petri dish, and its surface is a pressure-sensitive element. When the colony position on the surface of the culture dish is marked with a special probe pen, the pressure-sensitive element is triggered to automatically start the counting function and record. The counting result is clearly displayed through the LED digital tube, accompanied by a buzzer signal prompt.

Steps
1. Place the instrument on a stable workbench and connect it to the power supply.
2. Turn on the power switch and start the instrument.
3. Put the petri dishes to be counted into the counting pool.
4. Use a special probe pen to mark the colonies on the culture dish.
5. For each colony marked, the instrument will automatically count and display, and issue a beep prompt at the same time.
6. After the count is completed, record the final number of colonies on the display.
7. Turn off the power, take out the culture dish, and clean the surface of the counting pool.
Notice
• Please use the instrument in a stable, drying and clean working environment.
• When connecting the power supply, please confirm that the Rated voltage is 220V +/- 10% ACV and the Frequency is 50/60 Hz.
• Please use the matching special probe pen for marking during operation to avoid scratching the pressure-sensitive surface of the counting pool with Miscellaneous sharp objects.
• The size of the counting pool is φ 90mm, please make sure that the size of the culture dish is suitable for placement.
• Instrument Protection Rating is IP20, please pay attention to dust and avoid direct splashing of liquid.
• Please clean the counting pool in time after use to keep the instrument clean.
• If not in use for a long time, please disconnect the power supply.
