Overview
VUT-900A High Accuracy smart ultrasonic flaw detection (UFD) instrument adopts ergonomic lightweight and sturdy design, easy to operate, and can effectively improve work efficiency. The instrument is designed according to EN1 2668-1 standard and has the characteristics of high performance, high Stability, complete functions and strong anti-interference ability. The software is upgraded to VA0.20 version and the operation is smoother. Equipped with large-capacity original imported lithium battery, it can work continuously for more than 8 hours, especially suitable for field inspection operations.

Principle
The ultrasonic flaw detection (UFD) instrument emits high-frequency acoustic pulses into the material under test and receives echo signals reflected by internal defects or boundaries. The instrument analyzes and processes the echoes, uses Linear dispersion functions such as DAC and AVG to evaluate the equivalent size and location of defects, and combines functions such as radio frequency display and spectrum analysis to assist in judging the nature of defects. Finally, a test report containing detailed data and waveforms is generated.

Steps
1. Set the shortcut or flaw detection parameters according to the detection requirements.
2. Use the smart calibrate program to calibrate the material Speed of sound, Probe delay, angle and K value.
3. Select Single Crystal, Double Crystal or Penetration Operating Mode according to the detection object.
4. For detection, DAC/AVG Linear dispersion, gain automatic adjustment and other functions can be used to assist the evaluation.
5. Record the detection data and waveforms, and the system can automatically generate a flaw detection report.
6. Store the report or connect the printer to print through the interface.
Notice
• Operating Ambient Temperature should be between -20 ℃~ + 50 ℃, storage temperature between -30 ℃~ + 70 ℃.
• The relative humidity should not exceed 90%.
• Avoid use in environments with strong vibration, strong magnetic fields, corrosion media and severe dust.
• Make sure the battery is fully charged before use to ensure continuous Working time.
• Instrument Protection Rating is IP54, but still need to pay attention to anti-drop and shock, to avoid violent impact.
• When calling or editing DAC/AVG Linear dispersion, please adjust the parameters according to the corresponding standards.
• After the report is generated, it is recommended to save or back up in time to prevent data loss.
