Overview
CDX-ⅲ Portable Magnetic Particle Testing Equipment is a multi-purpose magnetic particle flaw detection equipment launched by PORUIKE brand, which is a non-contact ultra-small testing instrument. The instrument uses thyristor as a touchless point switch, which has the characteristics of low noise, long life, simple and convenient operation, strong applicability and stable work. It combines the advantages of Portable and mobile models, expands the use and simplifies the operation. It has a variety of magnetization methods such as AC swirl/spin magnetic field and magnetic yoke. It is a simple, reliable, lightweight, practical and effective multi-functional magnetic particle flaw detection instrument, especially suitable for surface parts that do not allow electrical arcing.

Principle
The instrument works according to the principle of magnetic interaction between the leakage magnetic field and magnetic particles. When the workpiece is magnetized, if there is a defect on the surface or near the surface, a leakage magnetic field will be formed at the defect. At this time, magnetic particles are applied, and the magnetic particles will be adsorbed by the leakage magnetic field, so that they can gather at the defect to form a magnetic mark visible to the naked eye, intuitively showing the shape, location and size of the defect.

Steps
1. According to the workpiece shape and inspection requirements, choose the appropriate Probe (A-type horseshoe yoke Probe, D-type electromagnetic yoke Probe, Ec-type swirl/spin magnetic field Probe or O-type magnetic ring coil).
2. Connect the Probe to the host and turn on the power supply (AC 220V +/- 10% 50Hz).
3. Place the Probe on the surface of the workpiece to be inspected and adjust the yoke spacing (if applicable) to ensure good contact.
4. Holding the Probe, the magnetization process is controlled by an ergonomically designed switch.
5. Applying magnetic particles in the magnetized region.
6. Observe the surface of the workpiece, magnetic particles will gather at the defect to form a magnetic mark, so as to identify the defect.
7. After the test is completed, if demagnetization is required, the O-type magnetic ring coil can be used for remote demagnetization.

* Temperature range of the instrument is -10~ 40 ℃, Storage Temperature range is -20~ 70 ℃, relative humidity should be ≤ 80%, please use and store under specified environment conditions.
* Power supply voltage meets AC 220V +/- 10% 50Hz requirement before use.
* According to different detection parts and workpiece geometry, choose the appropriate Probe type to ensure the detection effect.
* Probe Operating voltage is AC 36V × 2 or DC 8V, please pay attention to safe operation.
* The instrument comes standard with A-type horseshoe yoke Probe, lifting force ≥ 17kg, Scanning range 100mm, please pay attention to its scope of application.
When testing, ensure that the Probe is in good contact with the workpiece surface to achieve accurate magnetization.
* Instrument host weight 8.5kg, Probe weight 3.3kg, please pay attention to safety when moving and operating.
This instrument is especially suitable for flaw detection of surface parts that do not allow electrical arcing. Please note the limitations of application scenarios.
