The VUT-800A is a true color display full digital ultrasonic flaw detection (UFD) instrument from the PORUIKE brand. The instrument can quickly, conveniently, non-destructive and accurately detect, locate, evaluate and diagnose various defects inside the workpiece, such as crazing, inclusions and pores. Principle
The VUT-800A ultrasonic flaw detection (UFD) instrument works based on the principle of ultrasonic pulse reflection. The instrument generates high-frequency electrical pulses, which excite ultrasonic waves through Probe and pass them into the workpiece under test. When ultrasonic waves propagate inside the workpiece and encounter defects or interfaces, reflection occurs. The instrument receives these reflection echoes, and after high-speed AD conversion and signal processing, the waveform is displayed on the screen. Detection, localization, evaluation and diagnosis of defects are realized by analyzing information such as the position, amplitude and shape of the echoes.
