Overview
W-20 series Webster Hardness Tester is a small Portable instrument based on mechanical press-in Measurement principle, suitable for fast and convenient measurement of Aluminum profile, pipe, plate and other materials Hardness, measurement process without sampling, the operation skill requirements are not high. This series of products (including W-20, W-20a, W-20b models) can meet the testing needs of most production quality control and qualification determination, and are widely used in Aluminum profile industry, door and window curtain wall enterprises, engineering Quality control and technical supervision departments.
Features
1. New materials and new technology are used to manufacture the pressing needle, with high Hardness, long life and good interchangeability.
2. High-strength pointer, not easy to bend and deform.
3. High strength, high toughness window glass, impact resistance is not easy to crack.
4. The upper handle is made of forged aluminum alloy material and treated with anodic oxidation, which is beautiful, wear-resistant and pollution-resistant.
5. Equipped with a standard Wechsler Hardness block verified by a standard Hardness machine and accompanied by a test report.
6. Small size, light weight, can be operated with one hand, easy to quickly detect on site.
7. The testing process does not require sampling, and nondestructive testing can be achieved.
8. There are no strict restrictions on the shape of the material to be tested, and it is suitable for testing different shapes of Aluminum profiles.
9. Equipped with a calibrating sleeve, it helps to reduce the error caused by multiple full-scale calibrating.
10. The operation is simple, the operation skills have no impact on the reading, and human factors have little impact on the results.
11. The reading is convenient and can be easily converted to other Hardness values.
12. Measurement range is mainly used for Aluminum profiles and aluminum alloys (equivalent to 24~ 110HRE), and can also be used for measurement of copper alloy materials (equivalent to 60~ 90HRF).
Principle
The hardness gauge is based on the Measurement principle of mechanical indentation, which is used to measure Hardness by forming a crimp on the surface of the material. The instrument is calibrated through a standard Hardness block with manual measurement and mechanical Display mode.
Applications
Evaluate whether the aluminum alloy material has heat treatment and heat treatment effect, determine whether the material mechanical performance is qualified, judge whether the alloy composition of the aluminum alloy material is qualified, determine the Wechsler Hardness qualification value of the product through comparative experiments to control the production process and product acceptance, on-site testing of long and heavy workpieces or accessories that are not convenient for sampling or inspection, Aluminum profile industry, door and window curtain wall enterprises, engineering Quality control and technical supervision departments
Standards

Steps
1. Standard sample calibrating: use the detection standard block to calibrate.
2. Full scale calibrating: Manual calibration.
3 measurement: manual measurement of the sample, read the mechanical display value.
Notice
- The instrument should be used in a clean, vibration-free environment without corrosion medium.
- Suitable for plates with thickness ≤ 6mm, pipes with inner diameter ≥ 10mm and other samples.
- When measuring, pay attention to the accurate Measurement range of the instrument is 5~ 18HW.
- Please keep and use the standard Hardness block and calibrated sleeve properly to ensure measurement accuracy.
