Overview
PORUIKE VTS-3A wire rope Flaw detector is an online nondestructive testing equipment, which can accurately detect various defects such as broken wire, abrasion, rust, deformation, loose strands, wire jumping, and material changes inside and outside the wire rope. The instrument adopts computer USB interface direct sampling processing, with online sound and light alarm and real-time display functions, stable work, reliable performance and high detection accuracy. Each instrument is subject to third-party inspection by the national Measurement Agency according to relevant standards and obtained legal qualifications.
Features

Each instrument has been inspected by the national Measurement Agency according to the American ASTM1571 standard and GB/T21387-2008 standard, and issued a report with statutory qualifications.
Principle
The instrument instantly magnetizes the wire rope to a saturated state through Sensor (built-in high-speed reversible exciter). When the wire rope has defects, its magnetic field distribution will be distorted, and the magnetic field signal change will be collected by the high conductivity signal concentrator and the array Hall magnetic sensor group. After the signal is processed by AD analog-to-digital conversion, automatic noise rejection and other modules, it is transmitted to the computer through the USB interface, and real-time analysis and processing by special software, so that various defects of the wire rope can be identified qualitatively, Basis Weight, and positioning, and sound and light alarm and result display can be realized.

Steps
1. Select the appropriate Sensor guide sleeve according to the diameter of the wire rope to be tested (6-14mm) to ensure that the gap between the wire rope and the guide sleeve is within the allowable range (preferably 2-6mm).
2. Set the Sensor on the wire rope to ensure that the floating centering wear-resistant guide sleeve is well aligned.
3. Connect the Sensor to a computer (laptop or industrial computer) with dedicated software installed via the USB interface.
4. Start the detection software and set the relevant parameters.
5. At the appropriate speed (0.0~ 12.0m/s, the best 0.1m/s) relative to the movement Sensor and wire rope, start online detection.
6. The software collects and processes signals in real time, and displays the detection results. When defects are found, an audible and visual alarm will be triggered.
7. After the test is completed, the software can generate a test report containing information such as the number of broken wires and the cross-sectional area ratio.
Notice
Make sure that the gap between the Sensor guide sleeve and the wire rope is within the allowable range (0~ 15mm) for the best detection effect.
* Sensor and wire rope relative traverse speed should not be too fast, it is recommended to test at the best speed of 0.1m/s.
* The instrument should be used under the specified environment conditions (temperature -20 ℃~ + 50 ℃, relative humidity ≤ 85%).
* Sensor weight is light (common specification < 10kg), but still need to be careful to avoid violent impact.
* Please confirm that the Computer Operating system is compatible with the instrument software before testing.
The instrument is powered by a computer battery (5V), please ensure that the power supply is stable.
* Regularly maintain the instrument to keep the Sensor clean and prevent dust and water vapor from affecting the detection accuracy.
