Overview
VTS-6A wire rope Flaw detector is a nondestructive testing product developed by PORUIKE based on the principle of magnetic flux leakage. The instrument can detect the defects of broken wire, rust, abrasion and other defects inside and outside the wire rope in real time. Basis Weight calculates the change of metal cross-sectional area and generates a diagnostic report according to the current standard. It adopts dynamic continuous tracking mode, which can continuously observe the change of data signal, display the result in real time and alarm, and has automatic evaluation function. The instrument is easy to carry, simple to operate, high detection accuracy, good Repeatability, and accurate damage positioning.

Principle
The instrument is based on the principle of magnetic flux leakage for detection. The Sensor adopts a circular structure, circumferential circumference, and axial magnetization design, which can instantly magnetize the wire rope to a saturated state. When the wire rope has defects such as broken wire, rust, and abrasion, it will cause magnetic field leakage (magnetic flux leakage). Sensor captures these magnetic flux leakage signals. The instrument applies virtual instrument technology, replacing traditional instruments with software, and directly sampling and processing signals through the computer USB interface to realize the full scanning and electromagnetic qualitative, Basis Weight, and positioning detection of the wire rope.

Steps
1. Install the Sensor on the wire rope to be tested to ensure that the gap between the Sensor guide sleeve and the wire rope is within the allowable range (the best gap is 2~ 6mm).
2. Connect the Sensor to a computer with dedicated software installed via the USB interface.
3. Start the detection software and set the relevant parameters.
4. Move the Sensor or wire rope at the appropriate speed (optimal 0.1m/s, range 0.0~ 12.0m/s) to start continuous detection.
5. The instrument collects data in real time, processes analysis, and dynamically displays detection results and signal changes on the software interface.
6. When a defect is detected, the instrument will issue a sound and light alarm.
7. After the test is completed, the software can automatically generate a diagnostic report based on current standards and procedures.
Notice
• Ensure that the relative speed of Sensor and wire rope is in the range of 0.0~ 12.0m/s, and the optimal detection speed is 0.1m/s.
• Applicable wire rope diameter is < unk > 13-< unk > 17mm, please do not use beyond the range.
• Sensor guide sleeve and wire rope clearance should be kept within the allowable range (0~ 15mm), the best clearance is 2~ 6mm.
• Ambient Temperature -20 ℃~ + 50 ℃, relative humidity ≤ 85%, atmospheric pressure 86~ 206Kpa, please use in the specified environment.
• Sensor with alloy aluminum housing, with protective function, but still need to pay attention to avoid severe impact.
• Before testing, please ensure that the computer Operating system (such as Windows 7, etc.) is compatible with the software, and ensure that the power supply is normal (the computer battery is powered by 5V).
Measurement inspection, do not disassemble or modify without authorization, so as not to affect the detection accuracy and validity of statutory qualifications.
