Overview
PORUIKE BCT-210C (N1) is a split High Accuracy Coating thickness gauge. It adopts magnetic Induction and eddy Current Measurement principles, which can be widely used in the thickness measurement of platings, paints, enamel layers, aluminum tiles, copper tiles, Babbitt tiles, phosphating layers, paper, etc., as well as the thickness measurement of hull paints and underwater structural attachments. It is suitable for manufacturing, metal processing, chemical industry, commodity inspection and other testing fields.

Principle
This instrument adopts two thickness measurement methods: magnetic Induction and eddy Current. The magnetic Induction method is used to measure the nonmagnetic Coating thickness on magnetic substrates, and the eddy Current method is used to measure the insulation Coating thickness on nonmagnetic metal substrates.

Steps
1. Select the appropriate probe according to the measurement requirements and connect it.
2. Power on and select the system language (Chinese).
3. Depending on the substrate material and coating type, select the appropriate calibrate mode (one point calibrate or two point calibrate) in the menu and calibrate.
4. Select Measurement mode (Continuous Measurement mode or Single Measurement mode).
5. Place the probe vertically on the surface of the coating to be tested for measurement.
6. Read the measurement results on the LCD display (unit: μm).
7. The number of measurements, MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum, Average, Standard Deviation and other data can be viewed through the statistical function.
8. The measurement data can be transferred to the PC through the USB interface.
9. After use, you can choose to shut down manually or wait for automatic shutdown.
Notice
* Before measurement, select the appropriate probe according to the substrate material and coating type and calibrate it correctly.
* When measuring, ensure that the probe is perpendicular to the surface to be measured, and under the specified minimum radius of curvature and minimum base area conditions.
* Measurement range of this instrument (N1 Probe) is 0~ 1250μm, Measurement range of chrome plating on copper is 0-40μm, please pay attention when using.
* Note that the working Ambient Temperature of the instrument is 0-40 ℃, and the relative humidity is 20~ 90% RH.
* Powered by 2 AA batteries, please replace the batteries in time.
* The instrument has an error prompt function. If there is a screen display or beep prompt, please check the operation or instrument status according to the prompt.
* The data storage capacity is 500 Measured values, pay attention to exporting data in time to avoid overwriting.
* The function of connecting to the computer is optional, please confirm the configuration if you want to use it.
