Overview
AISRY ASR-5612 Wear resistance tester is suitable for testing the wear resistance performance of leather, fabric, Coating, paper, floor tiles, plywood, Glass, natural rubber and other materials. Abrasion Resistance of materials can be evaluated according to the abrasion condition or weight change of the specimen after the specified number of revolutions by rubbing the specimen on standard abrasive wheels under a specific load, and the abrasion index can be calculated.
Features
1. Suitable for wear resistance test of various materials (leather, fabric, Coatings, paper, floor tiles, plywood, Glass, natural rubber, etc.).
2. Standard abrasive wheels and adjustable weight are used to simulate actual abrasion conditions.
3. Equipped with LCD liquid crystal display counter to precisely control the number of test revolutions.
4. The test disc speed can be adjusted (60/72 rpm or specified) to meet the requirements of different test standards.
5. Compact structure, the size of the machine is 260 * 375 * 300mm, and the weight is about 18kg (excluding vacuum cleaner).
6. Support connecting the vacuum cleaner to keep the test area clean.
Principle
The upper part of the instrument is equipped with a sample clamp and a pair of abrasion wheels, and a counterweight weight can be attached to the abrasion wheel. The motor drives the sample clamp swirl/spin to drive the abrasion wheel to rub against the surface of the sample. After a preset number of frictions, stop running and remove the sample. By observing the degree of abrasion of the sample or comparing the weight difference before and after the test, the wear resistance performance of the material is evaluated to provide data reference for material selection.
Applications
Leather, Fabric, Coatings, Paper, Floor Tiles, Plywood, Glass, Natural Rubber
Standards
DIN-53754、53799、53109、52347、TAPPI-T 476、GB/T1768-2006、ASTM-D 4157、4060
Steps
1. Sample preparation: Place the sample at standard temperature and humidity (23 +/- 1 ° C, 65 +/- 2%) for more than 48 hours. Use a standard cutter to cut the sample with an outer diameter of 100mm, an inner diameter of 6.35mm, and a Film thickness of 3mm, and stick it on a standard sticker.
2. Prepare before the test: Lift up the pressure bar and vacuum tube. Select and install the abrasive wheels model and the same weight counterweight according to the standard. Check the power connection.
3. Testing process:
(1) dressing the grinding wheel (when using rubber abrasive wheels): install the sandpaper tray (H-17), set the number of swirl/spin, connect and start the vacuum cleaner, turn on the host to set the speed and number of revolutions, and automatically stop after reaching the set number of times. Remove the sandpaper tray.
(2) Test: use Electronic Balance to weigh the weight of the sample before the test, repeability of the operation steps of the grinding wheel (but not the sandpaper plate, but the installation of the sample), and then weigh the sample again after the test.
4. Result determination: observe whether the sample is damaged or record the number of revolutions when it is damaged. Calculate the abrasion index: [ (weight W1 before the test - weight W2 after the test)/number of test turns N] × 1000.
Notice
• The sample needs to be treated in a standard temperature and humidity environment for more than 48 hours before testing.
• Correctly select the abrasive wheels model and counterweight weight according to the test standards, and the left and right weight weights must be the same.
Make sure the machine is connected to the required power supply (AC220V 50HZ 5A).
• When using rubber abrasive wheels, use sandpaper trays for every 500 revolutions.
• During the test, it is recommended to connect a vacuum cleaner to clean up wear debris.
• Pay attention to safety during operation and avoid touching moving parts.
• When calculating the results, ensure that the weight unit is consistent and the number of turns is accurately recorded.
