Overview
AISRY ASR-5603 Primary Tack Ball Testing Machine is a professional equipment used to test the initial Tack of adhesive tapes, labels and other products. It uses the inclined surface rolling method to evaluate the initial adhesion performance of the product by measuring the adhesion of the steel ball in short contact with the sample Tack surface.
Features
1. Comply with national standards GB 4852 and JIS Z0237.
2.The tilt angle can be adjusted in the range of 0~ 60 ° to meet different test requirements.
3. The width of the countertop is 120mm, and the width of the test area is 80mm, providing a sufficient test area.
4. Equipped with 1/32-inch to 1-inch series rolling balls, with a wide range of tests.
5. Compact machine size (320 * 140 * 180mm), light weight (6kg), easy to place and move.
Principle
The testing machine works based on the principle of the inclined surface rolling ball method. The sample is fixed on the inclined surface with an adjustable angle, and the steel ball of the specified size is rolled down from the top of the inclined surface. The steel ball is briefly in contact with the Tack surface of the sample and applies a small pressure. By observing the position or distance where the steel ball stops rolling on the sample, the adhesion of the sample to the steel ball is evaluated, so as to determine its initial Tack.
Applications
Initial Tack Testing of Adhesive Tapes, Labels and Other Products
Standards
GB 4852、JIS Z0237
Steps
1. According to the requirements of the test standard, adjust the inclination angle of the test rig.
2. Paste the adhesive tape or label sample to be tested evenly on the test machine table to ensure that the Tack face is facing up.
3. Select a steel ball that meets the specifications.
4. Place the steel ball in the release position at the top of the slope.
5. Release the steel ball so that it rolls down naturally along the inclined surface and passes through the sample Tack surface.
6. Observe and record the position where the steel ball stops on the specimen or the distance it rolls over.
7. According to the stop position or distance, evaluate the initial Tack of the sample against the standard.
Notice
• Before the test, make sure that the test machine table and steel ball are clean, drying and free of oil stains.
• When pasting the sample, ensure that it is flat, bubble-free, wrinkle-free, and the Tack surface is completely exposed.
When selecting the size of the steel ball, it is necessary to strictly follow the relevant test standards.
When releasing the steel ball, ensure that it rolls freely and is not affected by external forces.
The test environment (e.g. temperature and humidity) may affect the results, and it is recommended to perform under standard conditions.
• Regularly clean and maintain the equipment to ensure that the tilt angle adjustment mechanism is flexible and accurate.
