Overview
HUXI 8G cutter head is an optional working head specially designed for HR-6, HR-6B, HR-10B models. The cutter head is made of high-quality materials and is suitable for fine processing of small samples. It can achieve efficient and stable homogenization and dispersion under specific conditions.
Features
1. High quality material: The main body of the working head is made of SS316L stainless steel, and the key contact parts are made of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), which has good corrosion resistance and chemical Stability.
2. Stable performance: The maximum linear speed of the rotor can reach 10M/S, which can effectively handle samples with a viscosity of up to 100cp.
3. Wide applicability: suitable for animal and plant tissue crushing, homogenization, medical diagnosis, micro-dispersion emulsification and homogenization and other functions.
4. Good temperature resistance: can be used in a temperature environment of up to 120 ° C.
5. Processing capacity Moderate: Standard Processing capacity range is 1~ 60mL, suitable for laboratory-scale micro to small Sample Handling.
Principle
The cutter head is mounted on the drive shaft of the homogenizer, and its precise rotor structure generates strong shear force and Impact force when swirling/spinning at high speed. When the sample passes through the working head, these forces quickly crush, disperse, and fully mix the solid particles or tissues in the sample with the liquid medium, so as to achieve the purpose of homogenizing, emulsification or cell crushing.
Applications
Animal and plant tissue crushing, homogenization, medical diagnosis, microdisperse emulsification, homogenization
Standards
No specific compliance criteria were mentioned in the data.
Steps
1. According to the sample characteristics and Processing capacity, confirm that the 8G cutter head is suitable.
2. Install the 8G cutter head firmly on the drive shaft of a compatible sizing machine (e.g. HR-6, HR-6B, HR-10B).
3. Place the sample (recommended in the range of 1-60 mL) in a suitable container.
4. Immerse the Probe, which has the cutter head installed, below the sample liquid level.
5. Start the homogenizer, select the appropriate Rotation speed and Working time for homogenization treatment.
6. After processing is completed, turn off the equipment, remove and clean the cutter head.
Notice
* Please ensure that the cutter head is firmly installed to avoid loosening during high-speed operation.
Please confirm that the sample viscosity does not exceed 100cp and the temperature does not exceed 120 ° C before processing.
Processing capacity is recommended to be in the range of 1~ 60mL for best results.
* After use, the cutter head should be cleaned thoroughly in time to prevent cross-contamination or corrosion caused by sample residue.
Do not idle when the cutter head is not immersed in liquid or the sample volume is too small, so as not to damage the cutter head or equipment.
* Please pay attention to safety when operating, and avoid contact with high-speed swirling/spinning parts of the body.
