Overview
YONGLIDA MSBS Visual Color Assessment Cabinet is a six Illuminant Standard light source Color Assessment Cabinet, providing six Illuminants of D65, UV, F/A, CWF, TL84, U30. This product is used to accurately calibrate the Color deviation of items, especially in the case of poor natural light conditions such as cloudy days and dark nights. Color management is essential.
Features
1. Integrated six Standard light sources: D65 (artificial daylight), UV (ultraviolet light), F/A (home/sunset light), CWF (cold fluorescent light), TL84 (European/Japanese store light), U30 (American commercial light) to meet a variety of color requirements.
2. With the function of testing the Metamerism effect, it can detect the difference of Color in different Illuminants.
3. The internal background is medium gray, and the reflectivity is less than one-third of the incident ray, ensuring uniform color environment standards.
4. Illuminant illumination range between 750 and 3200 lux, providing suitable lighting conditions.
5. The control panel can record the usage time of each Illuminant separately, which is convenient for managing the life of the Illuminant (it is recommended to replace it after 2000 hours) to avoid detection errors due to light pipe aging.
Principle
The product simulates lighting conditions in different environments by providing a variety of standardized artificial Illuminants. When color matching, the item to be tested is placed in front of the gray background in the box, and a specific Illuminant is selected for irradiation. Color is compared and proofed by human eye observation. Among them, the D65 Illuminant is an internationally recognized gray ruler contrast lighting Illuminant; the UV Illuminant is used to excite and detect the effect of fluorescence and whitening dyestuff; the Miscellaneous Illuminant simulates the lighting in specific commercial or life scenarios to evaluate the performance of Color under different lighting conditions, especially to detect the phenomenon of Metamerism.

Steps
1. Place the item to be tested in the Color Assessment Cabinet in front of a medium gray background.
2. According to the color requirements, select the corresponding Illuminant (such as D65, TL84, UV, etc.) through the control panel.
3. Color comparison of items by visual observation at selected Standard light source.
4. You can switch between different Illuminants to check if there is a Metamerism effect.
5. Illuminant use time is recorded after use and maintained regularly.
Notice
• When matching colors, make sure that the background is medium gray and the environment light does not interfere with the Illuminant inside the box.
• It is recommended to replace the light pipe in time after about 2000 hours of cumulative use of each Illuminant to prevent aging from affecting the detection accuracy.
• Pay attention to distinguish the application scenarios of different Illuminants, such as the TL84, which is often used to meet the requirements of European and Japanese customers.
When using UV Illuminant, it is mainly used to detect fluorescence and whitening effects, and attention should be paid to its special use.
