Overview
The RDS 15 #3/8 "double wire-wound Applicator rod is a precision Spreader tool produced by RDS Company in the United States with more than 80 years of technical experience. The product adopts a double wire-wound design, the rod body is made of wear-resistant stainless steel, the diameter is 9.5mm, the effective application width is 300mm, and the prepative wet film thickness is 34.3 microns.
Features
1. Adopt double wire-wound design, for high viscosity Coatings, it can reduce blockage and eliminate stitches, making Coatings flow more smoothly and soak more completely.
2. The rod body is made of wear-resistant stainless steel, which is sturdy and durable.
3. The film accuracy is up to 0.1 micron, ensuring that the Spreader effect is accurate and reliable.
4. Developed and produced by the RDS brand with more than 80 years of technical experience, the quality is guaranteed.
5. Accept customization to meet different experimental needs.
Principle
The double wire-wound Applicator rod forms a wide and shallow groove by wrapping a smaller wire around the tip of a larger rod body. This design allows the high viscosity Coating to flow better, while the smaller tip line creates a smaller discontinuity in the Coating flow, allowing the Coating to be more fully saturated, resulting in a precise, uniform wet-film Spreader.
Applications
Suitable for a variety of industries that require precision Spreader experiments.
Notice
• Double-wound drawdown bars are more expensive than open bars, but also more durable.
