RDS 15 #3/8 "Open Applicator rod is a professional Spreader tool imported from the United States. It is manufactured by open wire-wound process, with an effective application width of 30cm and a wet film thickness of 34.3μm. This product is suitable for handling high viscosity Coatings, which can effectively reduce clogging and stitch problems.
Features
1. Adopt open wire-wound process, suitable for high viscosity Coating, reduce clogging and eliminate stitches.
2. Wide and shallow groove design is conducive to the flow of heavy coatings.
3. Smaller wire diameter (0.38mm) produces smaller interruptions, resulting in more complete coating penetration.

Principle
The Applicator rod forms wide, shallow grooves through spaced, encircling wires. When Spreader is performed, these grooves allow high viscosity Coatings to flow through better, while smaller wire diameters produce less discontinuity, helping Coatings to soak and spread more completely, resulting in a uniform wet-film.
