LEICI COD Prefabricated Tube Reagent (Model 780100N01) is a prefabricated Reagent for Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) Determination. Measurement range is 0~ 150mg/L, Encasement specification is 25 pcs/box, each is a 10mL Colorimetric tube, suitable for DGB-401 instruments.

Principle
The Reagent is based on the principle of potassium dichromate oxidation method. Under strong acid and heating conditions, the organic matter in the water sample is oxidized by potassium dichromate, and the amount of potassium dichromate consumed is measured by Colorimetry to calculate the COD value.

Steps
1. Take an appropriate amount of water sample and add it to the prefabricated pipe
2. Shake well after sealing and heat in the digestion device
3. Colorimetric determination with DGB-401 instrument after chilling down
4. Read and record COD concentration values

• Reagent contains strong corrosion chemicals, wear protective equipment during operation
• Avoid contact of Reagent with skin or eyes. Rinse immediately with plenty of water in case of accidental contact
