Overview
LEICI COD Prefabricated Tube Reagent (Model 780100N02) is a prefabricated Reagent dedicated to the detection of chemical oxygen demand (COD) in water quality. Measurement range is 0~ 1500mg/L. The product uses 25 Encasements per box, each 10mL Colorimetric tube, suitable for DGB-401 analytical instruments.

Principle
Based on the principle of potassium dichromate method, the organic matter in the water sample is oxidized by potassium dichromate under strong acid and heating conditions, and the consumption of potassium dichromate is measured by Colorimetry to calculate the chemical oxygen demand value.

Steps
1. Take an appropriate amount of water sample and add it to the prefabricated pipe
2. Cover tightly and shake well to mix
3. Put in the DGB-401 instrument for heating and digestion
4. Colorimetric measurement after chilling down
5. Read and record COD concentration values
Notice
• Reagent contains strong corrosion chemicals, wear protective equipment during operation
• Avoid contact of Reagent with skin and eyes. Rinse immediately with plenty of water in case of accidental contact
Store in a cool, drying place away from heat and open flames
• Check Reagent valid period and Encasement integrity before use
• Waste liquid should be disposed of in accordance with hazardous waste disposal regulations
