Overview
The LEICI Water Hardness Reagent Pack (model: 781700N00) is a chemical Reagent kit for the measurement of total Hardness in water samples. Measurement range is 0.000~ 500.0mg/L. Designed for the DGB-423 Water Quality Analyzer, the Reagent Pack contains the Hardness Color Reagent and Hardness Buffer Reagent and provides 100 measurements.

Principle
The water Hardness Reagent package is based on the principle of complexometric titration, through the color reaction between the Hardness Color Reagent and the calcium mg ion in the water sample, under the suitable pH environment provided by the Hardness Buffering Reagent, a stable colored complex is formed, and its Color depth is proportional to the Hardness of the water sample.

Steps
Prepare the DGB-423 Water Quality Analyzer and the required water sample
2. Follow the instructions to take an appropriate amount of Hardness Buffer Reagent and add water sample
3. Add the specified amount of Hardness Color Reagent
4. Let the reaction stand after full mixing
5. Put the sample into the instrument for measurement after the reaction
6. Read and Record Water Hardness Test Results

Store in a cool drying place away from direct sunlight
