Overview
LEICI Type 218 Reference Electrode is a Silver/Silver Chloride monosalt bridge reference Electrode with a Glass case and U-insert design with a Dimension of φ 12 x 120 mm. The Electrode is saturated KCl in filling solution and a ceramic sand core in salt bridge material for potential reference in electrochemistry measurements.
Features
1. Adopt silver/silver chloride single salt bridge design
2. Glass shell material, good corrosion resistance
3. Salt bridge material is ceramic sand core, stable performance
4. The filling solution is saturated KCl solution
5. The connector adopts U-shaped fork design for reliable connection
6. Dimensions are small, easy to use and store
Principle
Reference Electrode establishes a stable potential reference in saturated KCl solution through the silver/silver chloride Electrode system, and the ceramic core salt bridge allows ions to pass slowly to form a stable liquid contact potential, providing a reliable reference potential for the measurement system.
Applications
Electrochemistry measurement, laboratory analysis, potentiometry, pH measurement, ion selective Electrode
Steps
1. Check whether the Electrode Appearance is in good condition
2. Confirm that the filling liquid level is normal
3. Connect the U-piece to the measuring instrument
4. Electrode immersion in the solution to be tested
5. Wait for the measurement after the potential is stable
6. Clean Electrode After Use and Store Properly
Notice
• Electrode inspection before use is nondestructive
• Ensure that the filling liquid level meets the requirements
• Avoid Violent Impact on Electrode
• Electrode should be cleaned promptly after use
• Electrode should be stored vertically
• Regularly check whether the filling fluid needs to be replaced
