Overview
LEICI Model 212 Reference Electrode is a saturated calomel monosalt bridge reference Electrode with a Glass shell and ceramic core salt bridge material, filled with a saturated KCl solution. The Electrode has a U-shaped fork connector with a Dimension of φ 9 × 120 mm and is suitable for potential measurement in the laboratory and industrial fields.
Features
1. Adopt saturated calomel monosalt bridge design to ensure stable reference potential
2. Glass Shell Material with Good Chemical Stability
3. Ceramic sand core salt bridge material, providing uniform liquid contact potential
4. U-shaped fork connector, easy and reliable connection
5. Compact shape, with a size of φ 9 × 120 mm, making it easy to operate and store
Principle
The 212 type reference Electrode works based on the principle of saturated Calomel electrode, which is filled with saturated KCl solution, and forms a liquid connection with the solution to be tested through the ceramic sand core to establish a stable reference potential. When combined with the indicator Electrode measurement system, the potential value of the solution can be accurately determined.
Applications
Laboratory potential measurement, industrial process control, water quality analysis, electrochemistry research
Steps
1. Check whether the Electrode Appearance is in good condition and whether the filling liquid is sufficient
2. Connect the Electrode U-shaped fork to the corresponding interface of the measuring instrument
3. Immerse the lower end of the Electrode into the solution to be tested to ensure that the ceramic core is in contact with the solution
4. Measured value after waiting for the potential to stabilize
5. Electrode rinse with deionized water after use and store properly
Notice
• Make sure Electrode Filling Solution is sufficient before use, check and replenish regularly
• Avoid Violent Vibration or Impact of Electrode to Prevent Glass Shell Damage
• Electrode should be cleaned in time after use to prevent salt bridge blockage
• Electrode should be placed vertically during storage to avoid inversion
• Electrode drying should be stored when not in use for a long time
