9. For "forged steel" materials, the HB value can be directly read when testing with the D/DC type Impact device, without manual table lookup.
10. With evaluation software Adjustment.
11. With the digitalization Impact device, all 7 Probe types are automatically recognized and compatible, and there is no need to re-calibrate the replacement Probe.
12. The upper and lower limits of Hardness values can be preset, and the range is automatically alarmed.
Principle
The product is a Leeb hardness tester, and its Working Principle is based on the Richter hardness testing method. The device releases the Impact body to the surface of the tested material through the digitalization Impact device (Probe), and measures the ratio of the rebound speed of the Impact body to the Impact speed at 1mm from the surface of the sample, that is, the Richter Hardness value (HL). The measured HL value is automatically converted into the corresponding Hardness value according to the preset material and Hardness standard (such as HB, HRC, HV, etc.) through the microprocessor inside the instrument.
Applications
Metal hardness of materials testing, hardness testing, quality control and inspection, Portable measurement
Steps
1. Select the appropriate Impact device (Probe) according to the tested material and install it.
2. Turn it on and check the battery power, Impact device type and other information on the main interface.
3. Set the test material, Hardness standard, Impact times, Hardness upper and lower limits and other parameters.
4. Press the Impact device vertically or in the permissible direction (within 360 °) against the surface of the tested material.
5. Press the Impact button for measurement, and the screen displays the measurement results.
6. Can store measurement data, or print results through Built-in Printer.
7. Transfer the data to the computer for further analysis through the Bluetooth function.
Notice
• Impact device should be closely and vertically attached to the specimen surface during measurement.
• Note that the measurement direction of the instrument supports vertical down, oblique down, horizontal, oblique up, and vertical up to 360 °.
• When replacing different models of Impact devices, the instrument can be automatically identified without recalibrating.
To obtain accurate results, the instrument parameters should be set correctly according to the type of material before testing.
• Measured value exceeds the preset upper and lower limits, the instrument will alert.
• Regularly charge the built-in lithium battery to keep the device working properly.
• Instrument Indication Error is +/- 6HLD (HLD = 800), indication Repeatability < 6HD (HLD = 800), use it to pay attention to its accuracy range.
