Overview
YD-1000B Portable hardness gauge is a High Accuracy metal material testing instrument designed by KODIN according to the Richter Hardness Measurement principle. It adopts a fully sealed metal shell, which is compact and portable, has high Reliability, is suitable for harsh operating environments, and supports measurement and conversion of various Hardness standards.
Features
1. Support "forged steel (Steel) " material, and the HB value can be directly read when testing with D/DC type Impact device, without manual table checking.
2. Easy to switch to all Hardness formats (HL, HB, HRB, HRC, HRA, HV, HS), and convert each Hardness measurement value in parallel.
3. Adopt large screen 128 × 64 graphic point matrix LCD, rich information, intuitive, full Chinese menu operation, simple and convenient.
4. With high-brightness backlight display, it is convenient to use in a gray environment with rays of light.
5. It can store up to 600 sets of Hardness measurement data, each set of data contains information such as single Measured value, average value, measurement date, Impact direction, number of times, material, Hardness system, etc.
6. The upper and lower limits of Hardness value can be preset, and the automatic alarm beyond the range is convenient for batch testing.
7. Fully sealed metal shell, anti-vibration, Impact and electromagnetic interference.
8. Powered by 2 AA (No. 5) ordinary alkaline batteries, it can work continuously for not less than 150 hours, with power-saving functions such as automatic sleep and automatic shutdown, and the LCD has a remaining power indicator icon.
9. Adjustment of indication software.
10. Can be equipped with powerful microcomputer software for data transmission, storage management, statistical analysis, printing reports, etc.
Principle
According to the Richter Hardness Measurement principle, the metal material surface is impacted by the Impact device, and the ratio of the rebound velocity and the Impact velocity of the Impact body at 1mm from the sample surface is measured to calculate the Richter Hardness value of the material, which can be converted into Miscellaneous Hardness Standard in parallel.
Applications
Installed machinery or permanent assembly parts, mold cavities and other workpieces with narrow test spaces, large workpieces, rapid inspection of multiple measurement parts in a wide range, failure analysis of equipment such as Pressure Vessels and automotive generators, production lines for bearings and other parts, material distinction in metal material warehouses, occasions requiring formal original records of test results
Standards
"Leeb hardness tester technical conditions" JB/T 9378-2001
Steps
1. Select the appropriate Impact device (e.g. D/DC type) according to the material being tested.
2. Turn on the instrument power supply and set the Measurement parameters (such as Material, Hardness Standard, Impact Direction, etc.) through the Chinese menu.
3. Press the Impact device vertically or in the set direction on the surface of the workpiece to be tested, and press the Impact button for measurement.
4. Read the measurement results (single value and average value) displayed on the LCD screen.
5. The measurement data can be automatically stored or transferred to the computer through the USB interface for further analysis and management.
Notice
* Impact device and instrument parameters should be correctly selected according to the measured material before measurement.
Make sure that the impact device is in close contact with the measured surface vertically or in the set direction.
* The instrument has an automatic alarm function, please pay attention when the Measured value exceeds the preset upper and lower limits.
* Pay attention to the battery level indicator and replace the battery in time to ensure Measurement accuracy and normal operation of the instrument.
* Avoid use in environments with strong electromagnetic interference, severe vibration or Impact to protect the instrument.
* Regularly use Software Adjustment to calibrate instrument indications to ensure measurement accuracy.
When storing and transferring data, follow the operating guidelines to prevent data loss.
