Overview
HZLB KDN-520 automatic Kay type nitrogen analyzer is an analytical instrument with microcomputer process control, with manual and automatic operation modes. The instrument is suitable for measuring the nitrogen content of various samples such as grain, feed, food, dairy products, etc. The measurement range is wide and the repeability accuracy is high.
Features
1. With manual and automatic operation modes, you can choose flexibly according to your needs.
2. In automatic mode, one-click to complete the automatic water addition, water level control, diluting, acid addition, alkali addition and distillation process, and can set different Working time.
3. In manual mode, the four processes of dilution, acid addition, alkali addition and distillation can be operated separately, and the time and dosage can be controlled by yourself.
4. Up to 999 operation processes can be stored, and up to 8 independent control stages can be set for each process, and the data export function can be expanded.
5. Adopt 4 independent imported micro pump control, ultra-quiet, Flow rate accuracy is high; the internal use of imported silicone tube, long service life and easy replacement.
6. Equipped with a 5.5-inch large-screen LCD display, supports Chinese and English switching and touch buttons, and the operation is simple and intuitive.
7. Safety protection alarm with a variety of functions, including digestion tube safety door device, steam generator water shortage alarm, water level detection fault alarm and instrument current is too large safety alarm.
8. With current display and current protection setting functions, it can display the Operating Current in real time and set the protection value, and automatically alarm the power failure when the limit is exceeded.
9. The instrument shell adopts special spray steel plate, equipped with corrosion-resistant transparent safety door, which is convenient for observing the distillation process.
10. Applicable to various water sources, wide adaptability.
Principle
The instrument is based on the principle of Kjeldahl nitrogen determination. Under automatic or manual control, the instrument completes the sample diluting, adding acid, adding alkali and distillation in sequence, converts the organic nitrogen in the sample into ammonium salt, and then frees the ammonia through alkali distillation. After absorption, the nitrogen content is determined by titration and other methods.
Applications
Food, Feed, Food, Dairy, Beverages, Soil, Water, Drugs, Sediments and Chemicals
Steps
1. Select the operation mode (automatic or manual).
2. If it is in automatic mode, set the required workflow and time, and start with one click.
3. If it is manual mode, the four steps of diluting, adding acid, adding alkali and distillation are operated separately to control the time and Reagent dosage.
4. During the operation of the instrument, the status can be observed through the screen, and the automatic process can be suspended for manual intervention.
5. After the run, process the data and choose to store or export.
Notice
• Make sure the instrument is well grounded and use a compliant power supply (Rated voltage 220V/50Hz).
• Please make sure that the digestive tube safety door is closed before operation.
• Pay attention to the water level of the steam generator to avoid water shortage alarms or malfunctions.
• Control the appropriate amount of sample according to the nature of the sample (solid, semi-solid, liquid).
• Set the appropriate protection current value (3A-5A) to prevent excessive current.
• Ensure adequate supply of chilled down water (consumption of about 2L/min) and recommended water temperature below 25 degrees.
• Regularly check and replace the silicone tubing and other consumables inside the instrument.
• Do not force operation in the instrument alarm state.
