Overview
The HZLB TYD-2 soil hardness gauge is an instrument for the measurement of soil compactness. Compacted soils affect water infiltration, fertilizer utilization, and plant root growth. The instrument can effectively guide the way of arable land in agricultural production and road construction.
Features
1. Measurement range, up to 0-100kg, and support N, Kg, ib three unit conversion.
2. High resolution, 0.1kg, Measurement accuracy of +/- 0.5%.
3. The measurement depth can reach 0~ 400mm.
4. Adopt charging power supply, support 220V/AV charging.
5. Support full scale calibration.
6. With internal Data storage function, it can store 896 test values.
7. An automatic shutdown time of 10 to 90 minutes can be set.
Principle
The instrument inserts a probe into the soil and measures the resistance of the soil to the probe, thereby converting the mechanical resistance of the soil into a readable Hardness value to assess the compactness of the soil.
Applications
Agricultural production, guidance on cultivated land, highway construction
Standards
full scale calibration
Steps
1. Charge the instrument.
2. Set the automatic shutdown time according to the measurement requirements.
3. Insert the instrument probe vertically into the soil to be measured to the desired depth.
4. Read and record the Measured value displayed by the instrument.
5. The measurement data is automatically stored and the history can be viewed inside the instrument.
Notice
• Please ensure that the instrument is fully charged before use.
• When inserting the probe, it should be kept vertical to ensure measurement accuracy.
• Avoid forcible insertion in extremely hard or rocky soil to prevent damage to the probe.
• Measurement accuracy is ensured by calibrating the instrument regularly.
• Please follow the instructions for charging and storage.
• The automatic shutdown time of the instrument can be set according to the actual usage to save power.
