Overview
The instrument is suitable for measuring the medium air permeability range of paper and Cardboard from 0 to 17 μm (Pa. S). The structural parameters and technical performance of the instrument meet the relevant standards such as QB/T1667-98 "Paper and Cardboard Air Permeability Tester" and GB/T458-1989 "Paper and Cardboard Air Permeability Determination Method" (Schauber).
Features
1. Measurement range covers 0~ 1000ml/min, suitable for medium air permeability measurement.
The test area is accurate, 10 +/- 0.02 cm ².
3. The pressure differential in the test area is stable at 1 +/- 0.01Kpa.
4. The inner diameter accuracy of the clamp ring is high, 35.68 +/- 0.05mm.
5. Measurement accuracy is high, +/- 1ml (< 100ml ); +/- 5ml (> 100ml).
6. The center hole of the upper and lower clamping rings has good coaxiality, < 0.05mm.
Principle
The instrument is based on the principle of the Schubert method and measures the air flow rate of the paper sample through a specified area (10 +/- 0.02cm ²) per unit time under a specific pressure difference (1 +/- 0.01Kpa).
Applications
Paper permeability measurement, Cardboard permeability measurement
Standards
QB/T1667-98 "Paper and Cardboard Air Permeability Tester", GB/T458-1989 "Paper and Cardboard Air Permeability Tester" (Schauber), QB/T1667 "Paper Air Permeability Tester (Schauber Method) "
Steps
1. Ensure that the instrument is in line with the required environmental conditions (temperature 20~ 40 ℃, relative humidity < 85%).
2. Place the specimen between the upper and lower clamping rings to ensure that the center hole is coaxial.
3. Adjust and stabilize the pressure differential in the test area to 1 +/- 0.01Kpa.
4. Start the measurement and record the air flow through the sample per unit time.
5. Calculate the air permeability of the paper according to the measurement results.
Notice
Before use, please ensure that the instrument meets the specified environmental conditions (temperature 20~ 40 ℃, relative humidity < 85%).
• When placing the sample, make sure that the coaxiality of the center hole of the upper and lower clamping rings meets the requirements (< 0.05mm).
Measurement range (0~ 1000ml/min) and accuracy ( +/- 1ml (< 100ml ); +/- 5ml (> 100ml)), judge the accuracy level according to the measurement value.
• During operation, ensure that the pressure difference in the test area is stable at 1 +/- 0.01Kpa.
