Overview
Automotive Scratch Resistance Testing Machine (Model ASR-4235) is a special device for scraping the insulating surface of automotive wires. The machine scrapes the insulating surface reciprocally along the axial direction of the sample, and automatically stops when the scraping needle grinds through the insulating contact conductor, conforming to a number of international and industry testing standards.
Features
1. The diameter of the scraping needle is 0.45mm, and the material meets the requirements of GB/T4358.
2. The diameter of the scraper is 0.125mm.
3. The test stroke can be adjusted by 10-20mm, and the scraping length is 15.5mm.
4. The scraping speed is adjustable from 10 to 60 times per minute (one move back and forth is one).
5. Provide a variety of scraping weight options: 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1100 (g).
6. With self-stop function: when the scraper needle wears through the insulation and comes into contact with the conductor, the equipment will automatically stop.
Principle
This machine scrapes the insulating surface by driving the scraper needle to reciprocate along the axial direction of the automobile wire sample. Under the set load (weight) and speed, the scraper needle continues to scrape until it wears through the insulating layer and contacts the internal conductor. Once conductor contact is detected, the equipment automatically stops running.
Applications
Automotive wire insulation performance test
Standards
ISO6722、QC/T730、GB/T8139、JASO D611、DIN72551、VW60306
Steps
1. Select and install the appropriate needle and weight according to the test criteria.
2. Clamp and fix the car wire sample as required.
3. Set the required test stroke and scraping speed.
4. Start the equipment and start the scraping test.
5. The equipment will automatically stop when the scraper needle wears through the insulating contact conductor and record the test results.
Notice
Before use, make sure that the equipment is well grounded and check whether the components are firmly installed.
• Correctly select the scraping needle, weight and set parameters according to the test standards.
• When clamping the sample, ensure that it is stable to avoid loosening during the test.
• Do not touch moving parts or samples while the equipment is running.
• Regularly maintain the equipment to ensure that the wearing parts such as the scraping needle are in good condition.
• Please follow the relevant safety operating procedures.
