This machine is DuPont Impact Tester, model ASR-DB-501, suitable for testing plastics, Pottery and porcelain, acrylic, fiberglass and other materials and test Coatings.

Principle
This instrument uses the specified weight of the steel ball to adjust at a certain height to make it fall freely and hit the sample. Impact performance is evaluated by observing the degree of damage to the sample.

Steps
1. According to the test standards and materials, choose the appropriate impact head radius and weight weight.
2. Place the specimen on the Impact platform.
3. Manually set the height at which the steel ball falls.
4. Release the steel ball so that it falls freely on the Impact specimen.
5. Remove the sample, observe and evaluate the degree of damage.
