Principle
Based on the ASTM C346 standard, the instrument uses 45 ° Measurement Angles to illuminate the surface of the sample through the built-in LED Illuminant and measure the Light intensity of the specular reflected light. After internal calculation, the Glossiness value of the measured surface is displayed in the form of a Gloss unit (GU).

Steps
1. Install one AA (or LR6) alkaline dry battery or rechargeable battery.
2. Press the power button to turn it on, and the instrument will automatically perform self-calibration and self-diagnosis.
3. Align and fit the instrument measurement port (size 12 * 28mm) to the surface of the sample to be tested.
4. Press the measurement button to achieve one-click measurement.
5. The measurement results will be displayed on the screen, and the data can be stored, consulted or exported through software.
