Overview
YM-1A metallographic sample pregrinding machine (Benchtop) is the preferred equipment for pregrinding process in the preparation of metallographic samples. The diameter of the grinding disc of this machine is larger than that of domestic congeneric products, and the Rotation speed design is unique, which can effectively improve the pregrinding efficiency of the sample before polishing.
Features
1. Large diameter of grinding disc: The diameter of grinding disc is 230mm, which is larger than that of domestic congeneric products.
2. Rotation speed is unique: Rotation speed is 700rpm, which is different from domestic product design.
3. Stable performance: YS7118 motor (0.2KW, 380V, 50Hz), reliable operation.
4. Compact structure: Dimensions of 650 * 340 * 300mm, weight 36kg, easy to place in the laboratory.
Principle
The device drives a grinding disc with a diameter of 230mm through a motor at a Rotation speed swirl/spin of 700rpm. During operation, sandpaper is laid flat on the grinding disc, and the surface of the metallographic sample is uniformly ground by the swirl/spin grinding disc to remove cutting marks and prepare for the subsequent polishing process, thereby improving the overall sample preparation efficiency.
Applications
Metallographic specimen preparation, material analysis laboratory, metal material research, quality control testing
Standards
The data did not mention specific compliance criteria
Steps
1. Place the device smoothly and connect it to a 380V power supply.
2. Select the appropriate particle size sandpaper and lay it flat on the 230mm diameter grinding disc.
3. Start the equipment and make the grinding disc swirl/spin at a Rotation speed of 700rpm.
4. Hold the metallographic sample and smoothly contact the swirl/spin sandpaper with appropriate strength for pre-grinding.
5. After the pre-grinding is completed, turn off the power supply and remove the sample for subsequent processing.
Notice
This machine uses a 380V three-phase power supply, and the wiring and operation must be carried out by professionals to ensure good grounding and pay attention to electricity safety.
Equipment should be placed on a stable, drying table to prevent vibration or movement during operation.
* Do not wear gloves during operation and ensure that the specimen is held firmly to prevent the specimen from flying out or touching the swirl/spin parts with your hands.
* According to the sample material and requirements, choose the appropriate sandpaper particle size for pre-grinding.
* Regularly check the disc Smoothness and motor operation status to keep the equipment clean.
* Device weight is 36kg, handling should pay attention to safety, avoid bumping.
