Overview
The FCM5000W computer-based Metallurgical Microscopy is a three-eye inverted Metallurgical Microscopy. It adopts an excellent infinity Optical inspection system and Modular design, which can be upgraded to realize functions such as polarization and dark field observation. Its high rigidity body meets vibration protection requirements, and the ergonomic design makes the operation comfortable. It is suitable for metallographic, mineralogy, precision engineering and other fields for microscopic observation of metallographic structures and surface morphology.
Features
1. Hinged binocular observation cylinder, 45 ° tilt, adjustable pupil distance, equipped with flat-field wide-angle eyepiece, comfortable observation.
2. The mechanical mobile stage has a built-in swirl/spin circular stage plate with a special-shaped observation window to meet the needs of different samples and polarized light observation.
3. Using the Cora lighting method, the aperture diaphragm and the field of view diaphragm can be adjusted smoothly through the dial.
4. The polarizer can adjust the polarization angle 360 °, making it easy to observe images in different polarization states.
5. Coarse fretting coaxial focusing system with locking device, fretting grid value of 2μm.
6. The lighting system adopts 6V30W halogen lamp with adjustable luminance and equipped with frosted Glass and yellow, green and blue color filters.
Principle
The microscope is based on an infinity color difference correction Optical inspection system, where rays of light pass through the objective lens to form a parallel beam of light and pass through the barrel lens for imagery. The illumination mass is controlled by adjusting the aperture and field diaphragm of the illumination system, and the surface morphology and tissue structure of the metallographic specimen are observed using a mechanical stage movement and focusing system. Polarizing devices can be used to analyze the polarization characteristics of materials.
Applications
Metallurgy, mineralogy, precision engineering research
Steps
1. Place the sample on the stage and select the appropriate observation window according to the sample specification.
2. Adjust the pupil distance and eyepieces to ensure comfortable binocular observation.
3. Turn on the lighting system and adjust the luminance to fit.
4. Use the coarse fretting coaxial focusing knob to initially focus the sample, and then use the fretting focusing for fine focusing.
5. Swirl/spin objective converter Select the objective with the desired magnification.
6. For polarizing observation, rotate the stage plate and adjust the polarizer angle.
7. Optimize image mass by adjusting aperture diaphragm and field of view diaphragm.
8. Connect the computer and camera device, and use metallographic analysis software for image acquisition and analysis.
Notice
• Avoid bowing your head for a long time during operation, and use the 45 ° tilt observation cylinder to reduce neck and shoulder fatigue.
• Use coarse adjustment first when focusing, and then fine adjustment when close to focus to avoid damage to the objective or sample.
• When changing the objective lens or adjusting the stage, the action should be gentle to prevent collision.
• After illuminating with a halogen lamp, wait for the lamp body to chill down before processing or moving.
• Keep Optical inspection parts clean and avoid touching the lens directly with your hands.
When performing polarizing observations, ensure that the polarizer and detector are adjusted in place to obtain a clear image.
• When the instrument is not in use, the focusing device should be locked tightly and covered with a dust cover.
