Overview
The FCM5100W computer-based Metallurgical Microscopy is a three-eye inverted Metallurgical Microscopy. It adopts an excellent infinity Optical inspection system and Modular function design, which is easy to upgrade to realize observation functions such as polarizing and dark field. Its compact and stable high-rigidity body meets vibration protection requirements, and its ergonomic design makes it comfortable and convenient to operate. The instrument is suitable for microscopic observation of metallographic structure and surface morphology, and is an ideal tool for metallographic, mineralogical, and precision engineering research.
Features
1. Adopt hinged binocular observation cylinder, 45 ° tilt design, effectively relieve the operator's neck and shoulder fatigue.
2. Equipped with flat-field wide-angle eyepieces, the market can reach φ 22mm, with a wide and comfortable observation field, and can be adapted to rubber blindfolds.
3. The mechanical mobile stage has a built-in swirl/spin circular stage plate with a special-shaped observation window, which is suitable for samples of different specifications and meets the needs of polarized observation.
4. The lighting system adopts Cora lighting mode, and the aperture diaphragm and field of view diaphragm can be adjusted smoothly through the dial.
5. The polarizer can adjust the polarization angle 360 °, making it easy to observe microscopic images in different polarization states.
6. Adopt coarse fretting coaxial focusing system, with locking device, and the fretting grid value is 2μm.
7. Configure a five-hole converter to facilitate objective lens switching.
Principle
The FCM5100W Metallurgical Microscopy is based on the infinity color difference correction Optical inspection system for imagery. The rays of light emitted by the Illuminant are irradiated to the surface of the metal specimen through the Cora illumination system, adjusted by the aperture diaphragm and the field diaphragm. The reflected light forms a parallel beam of light through the infinity objective lens, which is imaged after the lens barrel lens, and finally is observed and analyzed through the eyepiece or camera device. Its polarizing device can be used to observe the anisotropic characteristics of the material under polarized light.
Applications
Metallurgy, mineralogy, precision engineering research
Steps
1. Turn on the power and adjust the lighting luminance.
2. Place the prepared metallographic specimen on the stage.
3. Select a low magnification objective (e.g. 5X) through a swirl/spin converter.
4. Turn the coarse fretting focusing handwheel to initially find the image plane.
5. Use the fine focus handwheel to finely focus until the image is clear.
6. To observe different areas, move the mechanical stage.
7. If you need a higher magnification, you can switch to a higher magnification objective and refocus.
8. For polarizing observation, swirl/spin polarizer and circular stage plate.
9. Connect the camera device through the three-eyed lens barrel, and use metallographic analysis software for image acquisition and analysis.
Notice
• Please handle it with care during operation to avoid violent vibration.
When switching objectives, be careful to avoid collisions between the objective and the specimen.
• When adjusting the luminance, do not suddenly adjust the luminance to the highest level to prolong the life of the bulb.
• After use, please turn off the power and cover the dust cover.
• When cleaning Optical inspection parts, please use special lens paper and detergent to avoid scratching the lens.
• Instruments should be placed in a drying, clean environment.
