GT1000-Portable Gas detector is a Gas detection equipment under the KORNO brand, model GT-1000-C2H4 (0-200ppm). The instrument is suitable for gas concentration detection in various industrial environments and special environments. It adopts imported electrochemistry/infrared absorption gas Sensor and microcontroller technology. It has the characteristics of fast Response speed, high Measurement accuracy, Stability and Repeatability. The performance of the whole machine ranks among the top in China, and the user can customize and set various parameters, and the operation is simple. The instrument has a built-in 4000mA large-capacity polymer rechargeable battery with long standby time; it adopts a 3.5-inch full-view IPS industrial color screen, which can clearly display various technical indicators and gas concentration values, and supports viewing historical data on the screen. Data storage, printing, export and Humidity detection functions.

Principle
The Portable Gas detector uses the pump-suction Sampling method. The instrument has a built-in powerful air pump to suck the gas in the environment to be tested into the detection gas chamber. The gas chamber is equipped with imported electrochemistry or infrared absorption gas Sensors, which generate Response to specific gases (such as C2H4) and convert the gas concentration signal into an electrical signal. The electrical signal is processed and analyzed through a 24-bit ADC data collection chip and an ultra-low power 32-bit microprocessor, and finally the accurate gas concentration value (supporting PPM,% VOL, mg/m3, mg/L multiple units) is displayed in real time on the 3.5-inch IPS industrial color screen. The instrument has the function of temperature compensation, which can effectively reduce the influence of Ambient Temperature on the measurement results and ensure the measurement accuracy under different working conditions.

Steps
1. Power on: Long press the power button to start the instrument.
2. Self-test: After the instrument is started, a self-test will be carried out to observe whether the screen display is normal.
3. Mode settings: Set the required detection mode, storage mode, printing mode, display mode, air pump mode, etc. through the menu.
4. Unit selection: According to needs, freely switch between PPM,% VOL, mg/m3, mg/L four concentration units.
5. Start detection: place the instrument sampling port in the environment to be tested, the built-in pump will suck gas for detection, and the real-time concentration will be displayed on the screen.
6. Data viewing: View historical detection data visually on the screen through the menu function.
7. Data export/printing: Connect the corresponding device to perform data export or printing operations.
8. Calibrate: Automatic calibration or target point calibrating through software according to prompts or plans.
9. Shutdown: After completing the detection, press the power button to shut down.
Notice
• Ambient Temperature of the instrument is -30~ 60 ℃, Humidity ≤ 95% RH and no condensation, do not use in an environment beyond this range.
• Operating Pressure range of -30~ 100Kpa, please make sure to work in the allowable air pressure environment.
• The instrument is designed to be explosion-proof (ExdII CT4), but it should still be avoided in hazardous locations beyond the explosion-proof level.
• Do not disassemble or modify the instrument without authorization, so as not to affect the explosion-proof, protection performance and Measurement accuracy.
• Regularly check and clean the Dust Filter to ensure that the gas path is open and the Sensor is working properly.
• Please use the original or designated charging device to charge the built-in polymer battery, and note that although the overcharge protection function is available, it is still recommended to avoid overcharging for a long time.
When calibrating, make sure to use standard gas and operate in a well-ventilated environment.
• Although the instrument has a dustproof and waterproof design (IP65), it still needs to be cleaned and properly stored after use to avoid long-term exposure to extremely harsh environments.
• If the instrument is not used for a long time, it is recommended to turn it on regularly and charge and discharge the battery for maintenance.
