Principle
The Portable Gas detector uses the pump-suction Sampling method, and the gas to be tested is sucked into the inside of the instrument through a built-in powerful air pump. The gas is in contact with the imported electrochemistry or infrared absorption gas Sensor built in the instrument, and the Sensor converts the gas concentration signal into an electrical signal. The microcontroller (using a new semiconductor nano process ultra-low power 32-bit microprocessor) and a 24-bit ADC data collection chip process and analyze the signal, and finally display the gas concentration value in real time on the 3.5-inch IPS industrial color screen. Data storage, printing and other operations can be performed according to the settings.

Steps
1. Boot check: Ensure that the instrument has sufficient power, select and install the appropriate Sensor and Dust Filter according to the site environment.
2. Mode settings: Through the Chinese/English operation menu, set the detection mode, storage mode (real-time/timing), printing mode, display mode, air pump mode, etc. as needed.
3. Sampling detection: start the instrument, the built-in air pump starts to work, and the gas to be tested is sucked for detection.
4. Readings and Unit switching: Real-time gas concentration data is read on the screen, which can be freely switched between PPM,% VOL, mg/m3, and mg/L.
5. Data viewing and management: You can directly view historical data records on the screen, or perform subsequent analysis through the data export function, or connect to a micro printer to print data.
6.Calibrate and maintain: Automatic calibration is performed according to the prompts or periodically through the software, and Sensor multi-level target point calibrating is performed when necessary to maintain the accuracy of the instrument.
Notice
* Please use in the working environment specified by the instrument (temperature -30~ 60 ℃, Humidity ≤ 95% RH without condensation, air pressure -30~ 100Kpa).
* The instrument is marked explosion-proof (ExdII CT4), but it is still necessary to avoid use in hazardous areas beyond the explosion-proof level.
* Note that the Protection Rating of the instrument is IP65, which can be dustproof and waterproof, but it is still necessary to avoid long-term immersion or strong Impact when using.
* The built-in battery is a large-capacity polymer rechargeable battery, please use the matching charger, and note that although the overcharge protection function is available, it is still recommended to avoid overcharging.
* When sampling, please ensure that the gas path is unobstructed, and the Dust Filter needs to be cleaned or replaced in time according to the Operating Environment to ensure the accuracy of detection and protect the Sensor.
* The instrument has a temperature compensation function, but when testing in extreme temperature environments, it is still necessary to pay attention to the possible impact of Ambient Temperature on the detection.
* When calibrating, please use standard gas and strictly follow the operation procedures to ensure the effectiveness of calibrating.
The instrument has a data recovery function, but it is recommended to export important data regularly for backup.
Avoid strong static electricity or magnetic field interference in the instrument, although the product has corresponding protective functions.
* When not in use for a long time, please store the instrument in a drying and cool place and charge it regularly for maintenance.
