Principle
The Portable Gas detector uses the pump-suction Sampling method, which sucks the environment gas into the inside of the instrument through a built-in powerful air pump. The gas passes through a well-designed gas chamber and contacts the built-in imported electrochemistry or infrared absorption gas sensor. The sensor converts the gas concentration signal into an electrical signal, which is processed, analyzed and calculated by a 24-bit ADC data collection chip and a 32-bit microprocessor. Finally, the results (such as gas concentration, temperature Humidity, etc.) are displayed on the 3.5-inch IPS industrial color screen. The instrument has a temperature compensation function to correct the effect of Ambient Temperature on the measurement to ensure accuracy.

Steps
1. Power on: Long press the power button to start the instrument.
2. Self-test: Conduct self-test after the instrument is started to confirm that the Sensor and system status are normal.
3. Mode settings: Through the full Chinese/English operation menu, set the detection mode, storage mode, printing mode, display mode, air pump mode, etc. as needed.
4. Unit switch: In the menu, you can choose one of the four concentration units of PPM,% VOL, mg/m3, mg/L.
5. Start detection: Aim the instrument sampling port at the gas area to be measured, the built-in pump will suck the gas for detection, and the concentration value will be displayed on the screen in real time.
6. Data viewing: Real-time data and stored historical data can be viewed directly on the screen.
7. Data export/printing: Connect the computer to export data through the corresponding interface, or connect the micro printer to print data.
8. Shutdown: After the detection is completed, press the power button to shut down.
Notice
• Ambient Temperature of the instrument is -30~ 60 ℃, Humidity ≤ 95% RH and no condensation, do not use in environments beyond this range.
• Operating Pressure range is -30~ 100Kpa, please ensure that it is used within the allowable range of micro-negative pressure to positive pressure.
• The instrument is marked explosion-proof (ExdII CT4), but it must still be used at the specified hazard level and in accordance with relevant safety regulations.
• Avoid strong static or magnetic field interference in the instrument.
• Regularly calibrate the Sensor to ensure the accuracy and linearity of the measurement, using the instrument's own 6-level target point Adjustment.
• The instrument is equipped with a dust Filter, which should be checked and replaced regularly when used in harsh environments to prevent blockage from affecting sampling.
• Built-in 4000mA rechargeable battery, please use the matching charger to charge, and note that the overcharge protection function is normal.
• The instrument adopts a dustproof and waterproof design (IP65), but it is not protected by long-term immersion. Please do not immerse it in liquids.
• When cleaning the instrument, please use a soft dry cloth to wipe, avoid using corrosion chemical Reagents or rinse directly with water.
• If the instrument is not used for a long time, it is recommended to charge it regularly to maintain battery activity.
