Overview
TQC SP0010 Hardness pen is a pen-shaped hardness testing tool with a nib diameter of 1mm, different Newton force scale values engraved on one side, and springs of different test ranges installed inside. The product is made of anodic oxidation aluminum and tungsten carbide, which requires no maintenance and is anti-corrosion. The grip part is designed to be rough and non-slip, and the overall ergonomic.
Features
1. In line with human functional design
2, scale laser engraving is obvious on the gray background gravure plate
3. Made of maintenance-free anodic oxidation aluminum and tungsten carbide
4. Place the tip of the tungsten carbide needle on the surface of the tested object with constant pressure, and the pressure can be adjusted by the spring on the sliding edge
5. The measurement leaves a visual trace on the surface of the specimen to obtain the surface Hardness or mar resistance, which can be used for flat and curved surfaces
Principle
Using an SP0010 Hardness pen, the tungsten carbide tip is placed on the surface of the object under constant pressure, leaving a visual trace on the surface movement, and the surface Hardness or marring resistance is evaluated based on the trace.
Applications
Plane test, surface test
Standards
ISO 1518、AS 3894.4、EN 438-2、SIS 184188、Bosch、Volvo、Opel、van Laar
Steps
1. Make sure to select the correct tungsten carbide tip diameter and install the spring correctly
2, scale mentioned Color finger spring
3. Release the red knob to slide the slider to the desired position and tighten it quickly clockwise
4. Press the Hardness pen vertically on the surface of the tested object to create a tip load with the correct force
5. Move the Hardness pen, leaving a 10mm mark on the tested surface within 1 second
6. Check for visible marks on the tested surface
