Overview
Automotive wire abrasion tester (model: ASR-4325) is a special test device for scraping the insulating surface of automotive wires. The machine scrapes the insulating surface back and forth along the axial direction of the sample, and automatically stops when the scraper needle grinds through the insulating contact conductor to evaluate the wire's scratch resistance performance.
Features
1. The scraping needle has a variety of specifications to meet different standard requirements.
2. The scraper stroke (10~ 20mm) and scraping speed (10~ 60 times/minute) can be adjusted to adapt to different test conditions.
3. Equipped with a variety of scraping weights (500g, 700g, 1000g), providing different loads.
4. With a self-stop function, it automatically stops when the scraper needle wears through the insulation and contacts the conductor to ensure the accuracy and convenience of testing.
Principle
The machine continuously scrapes the surface of the insulating layer by driving the scraping needle to reciprocate along the axial direction of the automobile wire sample. During the test, the scraping needle works under the set stroke, speed and load. When the scraping needle penetrates the insulating layer and contacts the internal conductor, the device detects that the circuit is turned on and automatically stops running, records the number of scraping times or related data, and evaluates the scratch resistance of the wire insulation.
Applications
Scratch resistance performance test of automobile wire
Standards
ISO6722、QC/T730、JB/T8139、JASO D611、DIN72551、VW60306
Steps
1. Select the appropriate scraping needle according to the test criteria (e.g. QC/T730 standard uses 0.45mm diameter scraping needle, Miscellaneous standard uses 0.125mm scraper) and install it.
2. Clamp and fix the automobile wire sample to be tested as required.
3. According to the test requirements, adjust the scraper stroke (10~ 20mm) and scraping speed (10~ 60 times/minute).
4. Select the appropriate scraping weight (500g, 700g or 1000g) to load.
5. Start the device to start the scraping test.
6. During the test, the equipment will automatically shut down when the scraper needle wears through the insulating contact conductor to record the test results.
Notice
Please read the relevant standards and equipment instructions carefully before use.
• Ensure correct selection and installation of scraper needles or blades according to different test criteria.
• When clamping the sample, it should be stable to ensure accurate scraping position.
• Regularly check the abrasion of the scraping needle and replace it in time to ensure the test accuracy.
• Do not touch moving parts during the operation of the equipment.
• Keep the equipment clean and perform regular maintenance.
