WST-02 Sealing tester adopts the principle of negative pressure testing, which is suitable for the sealing test of soft Encasement parts in food, daily chemical, electronics and other industries. Through the test, the sealing process and sealing performance of soft Encasement parts can be effectively compared and evaluated, which provides a scientific basis for determining relevant technical indicators. It can also be used to test the sealing performance of the specimens after falling and pressure tests.

Principle
Using compressed air as the power source, the vacuum chamber is vacuumed by the vacuum generating device. The sample is placed in the vacuum chamber and immersed below the water surface; the vacuum tank is vacuumed to produce a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the sample immersed in water. By observing the expansion of the sample or the gas overflow (bubble) in the sample, the sealing performance of the sample can be judged.

Steps
1. Place the sample in a vacuum chamber and immerse it below the water surface
2. Vacuum the vacuum tank
3. Observe the swelling of the sample or the gas overflow (bubble) in the sample
4. Judge the sealing performance of the sample

• Air source pressure should be ≤ 0.7MPa (self-provided air source)
• Power supply requires AC 220V 50Hz
• Make sure the vacuum chamber is well sealed before testing
• Pay attention to observe the changes of the sample during operation
• Regularly calibrate the instrument
