Overview
The rotational viscometer NDJ-79 is a precision instrument for measuring the absolute viscosity of various Newtonian liquids and the apparent viscosity of non-Newtonian liquids. If used with a specific rotor, it can also measure the rheology of non-Newtonian liquids. It has convenient use, stable performance, simple maintenance, wide viscosity measurement range (1~ 1 × 1000000mpa.s), can be connected to high and low Temperature Circulating Bath and other external devices to control the temperature of the measured sample, improve the accuracy of the measured liquid viscosity value, and the measured sample liquid can be 15-70ml, effectively saving the sample volume.

Principle
The instrument is driven by a miniature synchronous motor, which swirls/spins at a constant speed of 750 r/min, and is almost unaffected by changes in load and Power supply voltage. The motor housing is suspended, which drives the drum swirl/spin through the shaft. When the drum swirl/spin in the measured liquid, it receives viscous resistance, which generates a reaction force to deflect the motor housing. The motor housing is connected to two metal hairsprings installed in one positive and one negative, and the rotation of the housing causes the hairsprings to generate torque. When the torque of the hairspring and the viscous resistance moment equilibrate, the pointer connected to the motor housing points out a certain value on the dial, which is proportional to the viscous resistance to the drum, so the scale reading multiplied by the drum factor represents the amount of dynamic viscosity.

Steps
1. Prepare the sample liquid to be tested 15-70ml
2. Select the appropriate rotor specification (II and III units)
3. Set Rotor speed (7.5/75/750rpm)
4. Connect the power supply (AC 220V 50Hz)
5. Start the instrument for measurement
6. Read the dial display value
7. Calculate the dynamic viscosity value (scale reading × drum factor)
