Overview
The NDJ-5S rotational viscometer is a precision instrument of the PINGXUAN brand. It uses microcomputer technology to easily set the range (rotor number and Rotation speed), digitally process the Sensor detection data, and clearly display the set rotor number, Rotation speed, measured liquid viscosity value and its full scale percentage on the display screen. The instrument is equipped with 4 rotors (No. 1, 2, 3, 4) and 4 rotation speeds (6, 12, 30, 60 rpm), forming 16 combinations, which can measure various liquid viscosity in the range of 1 to 100000mPa.s.

Principle
The instrument is driven by an imported Japanese synchronous motor through variable speed to make a constant speed swirl/spin of the rotor. When the rotor swirl/spin in the liquid, the liquid will produce a viscosity torque acting on the rotor. The greater the viscosity of the liquid, the greater the Tack moment; conversely, the smaller the viscosity of the liquid, the smaller the Tack moment. The Tack moment acting on the rotor is detected by the Sensor, and the viscosity of the measured liquid is obtained after computer processing.

Steps
1. Set the range (select the rotor number and Rotation speed)
2. Immerse the rotor in the tested liquid
3. Start the instrument for measurement
4. Observe the viscosity value and full scale percentage displayed on the display
5. Confirm measurement results according to reading stable cursor

• Power supply voltage needs to be AC 220V +/- 10% 50Hz +/- 10%
• Operating temperature range is 5~ 35 ℃
• The relative humidity should not exceed 80%
• Ensure rotor is clean and drying before measurement
• Avoid violent vibration when using
