Overview
The LANDTEK Ultrasonic Probe is an Optional accessory to the LANDTEK TM8810 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge, model Ultrasonic Probe, for non-contact thickness measurement.
Features
1. Measurement range, covering 1.5~ 200mm/0.06~ 8inch
2. Measurement accuracy , +/- ( 0.5% n + 0.2)
3. Speed of sound, 1000~ 9000m/s
4. Probe diameter 8mm, easy to operate
5. Probe Frequency 5MHz, suitable for a variety of materials
6. Temperature range 0~ 50 ℃, suitable for a variety of environments
Principle
Ultrasonic Probe transmits and receives ultrasonic signals, uses the propagation characteristics of sound waves in materials to measure thickness, and combines thickness gauges to calculate Speed of sound and echo time to achieve accurate measurement.
Applications
Industrial testing, material thickness measurement, quality control, equipment maintenance
Steps
1. Connect Probe to LANDTEK TM8810 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge
2. Set the thickness gauge Speed of sound parameters
3. Probe into contact with the surface of the tested object
4. Read the thickness data displayed by the thickness gauge
5. Record or process measurement results
Notice
• Probe contact temperature should be used in the range of 0~ 50 ℃
• Ensure that the tested surface is clean to avoid affecting the Measurement accuracy
• Avoid Strong Impacts or Vibration to Probes
• Regularly calibrate Probe to ensure measurement accuracy
