Overview
The MXD-01 Coefficient of Friction tester is suitable for the measurement of Plastic film and sheet, rubber, paper, Cardboard, woven bag, fabric style, metal composite belt for communication cable and optical cable, conveyor belt, wood, coating, brake pads, wipers, shoe materials, tires and other materials. By measuring the slippage of materials, the mass process index of material production can be controlled and adjusted to meet the requirements of product use. In addition, the instrument can also be used for the measurement of slippage performance of daily chemical products such as cosmetics and eye drops.

Principle
The instrument drives the slider to move uniformly on the surface of the sample, and uses the force measurement system to accurately measure the friction received during the movement of the slider. The system automatically records and calculates the maximum static friction at the moment when the slider starts to move and the dynamic friction during the movement, so as to obtain the static Coefficient of Friction and Dynamic Coefficient of Friction of the material to evaluate the slippery performance of the material.

Steps
1. Turn on the power supply and turn on the instrument.
2. According to the test requirements, select the appropriate force range and slider mass.
3. Fix the sample flat on the work surface.
4. Place the slider at the starting position of the specimen.
5. Set the test parameters on the operation panel and start the test.
6. The instrument automatically completes the slider movement, data collection and calculation.
7. After the test is completed, print the test results through a micro-printer.

• Power supply voltage is 220V 50HZ before use.
• According to the characteristics of the material to be tested, select the appropriate force range (0~ 5N, 10N, 20N, 30N, 50N optional) and slider mass (standard 200 +/- 2g, optional 500g).
• Ensure that the specimen is fixed flat and wrinkle-free on the work surface to ensure test accuracy.
• Check whether the traverse speed of the slider is within the range of 100 +/- 10mm/min before testing.
• Maintain the instrument regularly to ensure the stable performance of the high-precision ball screw drive system.
• The instrument weight is 35kg, please pay attention to safety when handling and placing.
